Build your dog's confidence and trust in you to be the compass that guides them to a calm, confident life.

The “Fearful Dog In The Big City” program is designed to help dogs overwhelmed and startled by the sights and sounds here in Brooklyn for dogs who are shy, nervous, and uncomfortable around new people or environments. This program is crafted to help dogs who freeze on walks and run away from loud noises. won’t come out of the crate, and/or hide and take time to trust new people.

We start with a Foundation session at your home, where I can determine your needs better and create training goals. During the first session, I help close the communication gap between you and your dog by explaining how dogs learn, our marker and communication system, how we stop unwanted behaviors, and what your dog is trying to tell you. We will also talk about the benefits of crate training, proper socialization, and the importance of the right diet for your dog, among other things. Of course, you’ll also get the answers to any questions you might have.

Then, we’ll continue to help build your dog’s confidence and trust with you and new people, both in your home and on your neighborhood streets.  We also meet at Prospect Park to let your dog explore, and teach to come when called.
