I am honored to offer you all a chance to get certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
Brooklyn Bark - Dog Walking and Pet Care will be running a special session of their certification class on Tuesday, February 12th as a fundraiser for Sean Casey Animal Rescue.

$100 This fee includes certification,
e-book and Dinner.
NO DOGS SHOULD ATTEND.
We will have dog mannequins to practice on.
SPACE IS LIMITED.
Due to the amount of mannequins and classroom space, please reserve your spot!
Instruction begins at 6 pm sharp through 10:30. There is a lot of hands-on work and dinner is included.
A Few topics covered are:
What would you do if your dog has a seizure?
If you dog is attacked by another dog and is starting to bleed out, and is lashing out and won’t let you help your dog?
If your pup swallowed a rawhide or a stick and is choking?
If he suddenly goes down, unconscious?
A few statistics to think about:
99+% of the time pet care is a joy. But for those you-can-never-plan-for OMG moments, knowing what to do can mean the difference between life and death.
25% more of the pets brought in for an emergency could be saved if one of the techniques taught in the class had been applied.
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL:
Arrive by 5:30 you will be treated to a behind the scenes tour of VERG as well (if he is not on a call) a visit inside an AmbuVet pet ambulance owned and operated by guest instructor, Don Montes, LVT.
Helen Bowers teaches how to arrive with your pet (dog, cat or other) at the Veterinary Emergency Room with both of you in the best possible shape for the ER vet to succeed. Helen is a certified PetTech instructor who provides hand on training for animal care and safety.
There is a lot of hands on learning and Brooklyn Bark's founder, Rachel who is NYS Wildlife Rehab licensed, and Don Montes LVT, founder of AmbuVet, co-instruct and share many real-life experiences. All staff members of Brooklyn Bark are CPR/first aid certified. They are committed to bring this information to as many of our clients and friends as possible in order to save as many pets as possible.
